The Study Hall

Down in Vipul Khand II, right near Ambedkar Udyan in Gomti Nagar, you’ll find The Study Hall. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always something happening outside our doors. The school itself is a place where we try to keep things grounded and practical. We’ve got students coming in from all over this side of Lucknow. The building is solid and has plenty of history for those of us who have been here a while. You can usually hear the sound of kids playing or teachers talking if you walk by. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. It’s more about the actual learning that happens at the desks. We spend a lot of time organizing schedules and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next day. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do. The park nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Inside, the walls are covered with student work and old notices. It feels lived-in, which is how we like it. We have our fair share of busy mornings and tired afternoons. The staff room is always full of tea cups and stacks of papers to grade. It’s just a normal school life here. We don’t make a big fuss about things, we just keep the doors open and the classes moving along. It keeps us on our toes and that is fine by us.
