The Commerce Classes

We've been here on Faizabad Road for a while now. The building is right there near Bhootnath Road, which stays pretty busy most of the day. Inside The Commerce Classes, things are usually a bit hectic with students moving from one room to another. It isn't a fancy place with modern glass walls or anything like that. We have wooden desks that have seen better days and whiteboards that always have some ink stains left behind. Most people find us because they live around Indira Nagar or take the tempo down the main road. The fans make a bit of noise when it gets hot in Lucknow, but nobody seems to mind much. We just sit here and go through the chapters. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, especially near the Bhootnath intersection, but once the door is shut, it’s mostly just the sound of pens scratching on paper. It is a simple setup. We don't have a big reception area or someone waiting to greet you. Usually, one of us is just sitting at the main desk handling the registers. The walls are painted a light color that’s faded a bit over the years. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood. Students come in, drop their bags, and we get to work. It is just how things are run here in this part of Lucknow. No big slogans or flashy lights, just a place on Faizabad Road where people come to learn.
