Super Hair Mens Parlour is located in Model House over in the Naya Gaon area of Lucknow. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the India Post office. It is a handy spot because people often drop in after they finish their business at the post office. The shop has been here for years, and the walls have seen a lot of faces. We have the usual black barber chairs that creak a little when you sit down. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast on Saturdays, so we are always sweeping with an old broom. It is a men's place, so the talk is mostly about cricket or what is happening in the city. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working the scissors and razors. The street outside can get quite crowded with bikes and cycles, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit or just use the hand fans. We don't use any of those expensive products you see in malls. Just regular soap, water, and some old-fashioned aftershave that smells very strong. It is a simple life running a shop in Lucknow. We like the routine of it. Most of the regulars don't even have to tell us how they want their hair cut anymore, we just know. It is just a small local business trying to keep things going one day at a time in this neighborhood.
