Sunaina Beauty Parlour

The shop is located right in Aliganj in Lucknow. It is a busy area and we are tucked away in a spot that stays pretty active throughout the day. Sunaina Beauty Parlour has been around for a bit and we just handle the usual stuff like threading and hair cuts for the ladies nearby. In the morning we unlock the door and put out the small sign. The floor needs a good sweep every few hours because of all the hair. We have a couple of chairs and a big mirror that covers most of one wall. Lucknow weather changes a lot so sometimes we are dealing with dust blowing in and other times it is just humid. We keep the thread and the creams in the glass cabinet so they stay clean. There is a small stool for people to sit on while they wait their turn. Most of our customers are from the houses just a few streets away. They come in and talk about their day while we work. It is not a huge place but it is enough for us. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. Just regular bulbs and a fan that squeaks a little bit when it is on high speed. We keep the towels washed and folded in the back. It is just a normal day-to-day business here in Aliganj. We like the familiar faces and the quiet moments between the rush.
