It’s an old part of the city, so there is a lot of history and a lot of people moving around all the time. Our shop is a straightforward place. We have the usual barber chairs and the old-fashioned mirrors. It’s not one of those fancy new places with a lot of neon lights. We prefer keeping it simple. The street outside is always busy with shoppers and vendors, so there is always something to look at through the window. Lucknow can get very crowded, especially in Lalbagh, but we like the energy of the Super Market. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and we know many of the faces that walk past. Our days are filled with the sound of scissors and the radio playing in the background. It is a bit cramped when it gets busy, and sometimes you have to wait on the bench for a turn, but that’s just how it goes. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local hair cutting shop where you can get a quick trim and hear some of the local gossip before going about your day. It’s a small shop but it has been our home for years.
