You can find Spreading Smile Education Private Limited at House Number 60 in Gaura Bagh. This is out on Kursi Road, which is a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the center of Lucknow. The area is called Guramba, and it’s got a bit of a different feel than the more crowded parts of the city. We’ve been here for a while, running the education business out of this building. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We have some desks, chairs, and a lot of folders full of records. The name of the company is a bit long, but we just call ourselves by the shorthand. Most of our day is spent making calls or organizing materials for the programs we handle. It can get a bit dusty out here because of the road, so we’re always wiping down the furniture. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local folks who know the neighborhood and the people around here. There’s a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though it’s hard in the summer heat. We usually eat lunch together at one of the big tables inside. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place. We don’t have a mission statement hanging on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, do the work that needs to be done for the education side of things, and head home when the sun starts to go down.
