Silicon Energy

Silicon Energy is tucked away in Alambagh, specifically at No.555 Ga/101 Cha in Subhash Nagar. If you know where the Piccadily Hotel is, we aren't too far from there. It’s a busy area, lots of traffic and noise, but we’ve grown used to it. The shop isn't anything flashy. We have our tools, some inventory stacked in the corners, and a desk that’s usually covered in notes. We focus on energy stuff, mostly solar components and setups for local houses and small shops. A typical day starts with coffee and checking the schedule to see who needs help or where a new system is going in. Sometimes the parts don't arrive on time or the weather messes with an install, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't a big corporation with a marketing team. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a circuit breaker and a solar cell. We spend a lot of time driving around Alambagh and the surrounding streets. People stop by sometimes just to ask a quick question about their battery or why their lights flickered. We try to give them a straight answer without a bunch of technical talk they don't need. It’s a decent way to make a living, helping folks get some power from the sun. The Subhash Nagar location works out well for us because it’s central. We’ve been at this address for a bit and plan to stay put for the foreseeable future.
