Shukla Tutor

I am based in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, quite close to the Hosariya Crossing. If you are from around here, you know that crossing can get pretty backed up with traffic in the evenings. My place is just a regular spot where I do my tutoring work. I didn’t want to work in a big office, so I set up a space at this address where students can come and learn. It’s mostly just me and the kids. We sit around a big table and go through their school subjects. Lucknow is a great city, but the schools can be very crowded, so kids come to me for a bit more individual attention. I don't use any high-tech gadgets, just some books and a lot of patience. The neighbors are used to seeing students coming and going in their uniforms. I’ve lived in this part of Gomti Nagar for a long time, so I know the families around here. Often, a parent will stay for a cup of tea while we finish up a lesson. It’s a very informal atmosphere. I don’t have a mission statement or any of that. I just like to teach and help students get through their exams without too much stress. Sometimes we get distracted talking about local news or the weather, but we always get back to the books. It’s a quiet, honest way to make a living in a busy city like Lucknow.
