Shreeswami Sarang Global Peace Foundation

Our place is in the Shalimar Emerald building, specifically B-101. It’s on Jopling Road in Lucknow, right near Buttler Palace. It’s a nice enough area, though the traffic on the main road can be a headache during rush hour. Shreeswami Sarang Global Peace Foundation is tucked away inside, away from all that noise. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we sit and plan things out. Lucknow is a city with a lot of history, and we feel lucky to be working here in Uttar Pradesh. The atmosphere in our office is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits or have fancy titles for everyone. We just call each other by name and get to work. People often drop by because they’ve heard about us from a friend or a neighbor. We usually offer them a seat and a glass of water while we talk. It’s important to us that people feel welcome and not like they are walking into a cold business office. We deal with all sorts of small issues every day. Some things are easy to fix and others take a lot of phone calls and patience. We just keep plugging away at it, trying to stay calm and helpful to anyone who comes through that door. Life is busy enough without making things more complicated than they need to be.
