Shree Vaishno Sewa Sansthan

We have been here in Rajendra Nagar for quite a while now. The office is at 165, right in the heart of Lucknow. It's just a regular place where a few of us get together to do what we can for the folks around here. We don't have fancy desks or anything. Most days are spent talking to people who walk in needing some help or just some advice. Shree Vaishno Sewa Sansthan started small because we saw things that needed fixing in our neighborhood. Managing everything isn't always easy, but we try our bit. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet. Local issues are what we handle, maybe organizing a small camp or helping someone with paperwork. It’s mostly just us trying to be useful. People in Lucknow know where to find us if they have a problem. The streets have changed a lot over the years. While some volunteers have been here since the start, others come and go as they can. It’s a group effort, really. Nothing too complicated about how we work. Doors open in the morning and we see what the day brings. If you're walking past Rajendra Nagar, you'll see our sign. This isn't for praise; it just feels like the right thing to do. There is always someone who needs a hand, and we happen to be here in Lucknow. We keep at it every single day and hope it helps someone.
