Shree Chikan Udyog

Shree Chikan Udyog is located over at No. 315/183 Bagh Maha Narin Chowk. We’ve been at this spot for some time now, dealing with chikan work. It’s a traditional kind of thing, and we just keep at it every day. The shop isn’t huge, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Bagh Maha Narin Chowk is usually quite active, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We spend most of our hours checking the fabrics and making sure everything looks right. It’s honest work. We don't use any of those big words to describe what we do. We just make the clothes and sell them to people who come by. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is nice and people are out shopping in the chowk. If you’re trying to find us, just look for the number 315/183. We are usually there from morning until late evening. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, but mostly we are just working. There’s a lot of history in this kind of work, and we are glad to be a small part of it here. We don't have a website or anything fancy, just our physical shop. It’s how we’ve always done things and it seems to work out okay for us and the local folks. We don't have any big secrets, just a lot of thread and patience for the daily tasks.
