Shikshasankalp Foundation

Shikshasankalp Foundation is over in Viram Khand, Gomti Nagar. The address is 5/1149. Gomti Nagar is a big area in Lucknow, but our little corner is pretty quiet. We’ve been here for a while now. It’s a simple house that we’ve turned into our workspace. There’s a lot of greenery around, which is nice when the weather is good. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a small group of us who wanted to do something useful. We don't have shiny brochures or a website that works perfectly all the time. We mostly focus on the daily tasks. People from around the neighborhood know us. They drop by when they have a question or just want to see what we are up to. We spend a lot of time sitting around the table figuring things out. It's not always pretty, and sometimes we disagree on how to do things, but we get it done. We don't use big words or fancy language to describe what we do. We just help out where it’s needed. Lucknow is a city with a lot of heart, and we try to reflect that in our work. We aren't looking for awards or fame. We just want to stay busy and be helpful to the community. It’s a good way to spend the day.
