Shashwat Beauty Salon

We have been here at Ambika Complex near the IT Chauraha for quite a long time now. The shop isn't very big, but it stays busy because of all the students from IT College walking by every day. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, but inside we just focus on what the customer wants. I usually start the day by cleaning the mirrors and checking if the towels are dry. It's a simple place. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. People come in, sit down, and tell us how they want their hair done. Lucknow gets very hot in the summer, so the fan is always running. Some days are slow, especially when the college is on holiday, but mostly someone is always sitting in the chair. My brother helps out when things get crowded on weekends. We know most of the people who live around Daliganj Road. They stop by just to say hello even if they don't need a haircut that day. The chairs are old but comfortable enough. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes hair clips or combs go missing in the rush. It’s just a normal neighborhood salon where you can talk about the weather or local news while we work. Nothing too complicated happens here, just the same routine every morning till we close the shutters at night and head home to rest for the next day.
