Our place is at 2/833 in the basement area of Vivek Khand. It is right on the Gomtinagar Station Road, very close to the Gomti Tent House. It is a bit of a trek for some people, but the location is pretty well-known around here. We handle both the classes at the center and sending tutors out to people's homes. I spend a lot of my time on the phone coordinating where every teacher needs to be. It is a bit chaotic on Monday mornings. The basement stays quiet enough for the kids to focus on their work. I have lived in Lucknow for many decades now. This business, Sharper Brains, started out very small and it has just stayed that way. We are not looking to become some giant corporation or anything. Just local people helping out the neighborhood kids with their studies. I keep a log of all the tutors in a big blue binder on my desk. Sometimes the station road gets very jammed with traffic during the evening rush. I often have to warn the staff to leave a bit early. The office is very simple, just some chairs and an old computer. We drink a lot of chai to stay awake during the long evening hours. It is hard work keeping track of everyone’s different schedules.
