Sharada Beauty Parlour

Sharada Beauty Parlour is situated right on the Main Road in the Rani Ganj area of Lucknow. It’s a busy spot to be in, and you can always hear the horns and the people moving about outside. The parlour is inside an older building, so it has a bit of character to it, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint now and then. We have been here for a good number of years, serving the women who live and work in this part of Lucknow. The setup is quite traditional—we have a few stations for hair and skin work, and a small area where people can sit while they wait. My days are usually filled with doing things like eyebrow threading, basic facials, and hair styling for everyday wear. Because we are on the Main Road, we get a lot of people who just drop in while they are out doing their shopping. It’s a practical place, not something you’d call a luxury lounge. We use standard products that people are familiar with. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people come in at once, but we just manage as best as we can. There is a small window that lets in some light, but mostly we rely on the overhead tubes. It’s a small, honest business where the focus is just on providing the basic grooming services that the local ladies need in their daily lives without making it complicated.
