Shakun Medicals has been operating out of M-10 in Gole Market, Mahanagar for quite some time now. Gole Market is a busy spot, so we see a lot of people passing by every day. We aren't a big chain; it’s just a local operation where we keep things simple. We have shelves full of different medical supplies and medicines. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific item quickly, but we usually know exactly which corner it’s tucked into. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack the boxes. We don't have fancy uniforms or a corporate handbook. We just show up, open the shutters, and start the day. Often, we’re busy talking to local doctors or clinic staff about what they need for the week. The fan in the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we’ve stopped noticing it. Mahanagar is a good neighborhood, and being in Gole Market means we're right in the middle of things. We try to keep the prices fair and the stocks replenished. It’s a lot of counting and double-checking the invoices. We don't do much in the way of advertising because people around here already know where to find us. It’s just a practical way to run a medical business. My son sometimes helps me with the bookkeeping in the evenings when he isn't busy.
