Serlie Parlour

Serlie Parlour is tucked away in Indira Nagar, Lucknow, near the Vishal Khand area. We’ve been running this place for a bit now. It’s mostly women from the neighborhood who come by to get things done. We do threading, hair cutting, and the usual parlour work. The space isn’t very large, but we’ve arranged things to make it feel okay for everyone. We use the same products we've always used because they work. Sometimes it gets a little crowded on weekends, but people don’t mind waiting a few minutes on the bench. We talk about local news or what's happening in the market while we work. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We try to keep the place tidy, though sometimes hair ends up everywhere during a busy rush. Lucknow heat can be tough, so we keep the fans going all day long. If you're coming from Vishal Khand, it's a short walk. We don't have any big posters outside. Just a small sign with the name. We like it that way. Most people find us through word of mouth anyway. It’s just us here, working every day to make sure the customers leave looking okay. No big fuss or anything like that. Just a simple parlour for the local ladies who need a bit of work done.
