Scholars Point

Scholars Point is situated right on the Main Road in Aliganj. Being on the main road makes it very convenient for everyone to find us, though it does mean we deal with the constant sound of traffic throughout the day. Lucknow - 226002 is a busy pin code, and Aliganj is right at the center of it. Our space is functional and straightforward. We don't have any decorative plants or expensive lighting. Instead, we have rows of benches and plenty of whiteboards. The windows look out onto the street, so you can see the city moving while you’re inside. We open up early in the morning and usually have people coming in and out until late in the evening. The local tea stall nearby is where we usually get our afternoon snacks. It is a very grounded kind of place. We don't go for making things look more complicated than they actually are. People come here because they need a spot to focus on their studies. We have a small area for books and some old fans that keep the rooms from getting too hot in the summer. It feels like a part of the local community because we see the same faces every day. We don't use any fancy software to track things; we just use registers and pens. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and the people who come here.
