Sandhya Beauty Parlar

Sandhya Beauty Parlar is located on Station Road in the Charbagh area of Lucknow. We are right by the Shelter Hotel, which is a big landmark around here. Since we are near the station, the whole area is always bustling with travelers and luggage and noise. Our parlour is a small, practical space. We don’t have room for a big lounge or anything fancy. There are a few mirrors, some shelves for our threads and waxes, and a couple of chairs that have seen better days but are still sturdy. We get a mix of people—some local residents and some people staying at the nearby hotels who need to look sharp for a meeting or a function. The smell of Lucknow’s street food often wafts in through the door. We keep a stack of old magazines for people to look at while they wait. It’s a bit cramped when there are more than three customers, but we make it work. We don't spend money on big ads or glossy flyers. We just rely on doing a decent job so people come back. The lighting is a bit yellow, but it’s enough to see what we are doing. We work long hours because the station area never really sleeps. It’s a humble place, but we take pride in the fact that we’ve stayed open this long in such a busy part of the city.
