Our place is at 4/489, Vibhav Khand, which is over in the Gomti Nagar part of Lucknow. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays relatively peaceful compared to the main city markets. We like it that way because it makes for a better environment for the students who come to us for tutorials. The building is just a regular house that we’ve adapted for classes. You’ll find desks in the rooms and books lined up on the shelves. It’s not a big institution with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more like a home where learning happens. We usually start our sessions in the late afternoon when the kids finish their regular school day. The street outside is lined with trees, and you can often see neighbors walking their dogs while we are working inside. We spend a lot of time sitting around the table going over math problems or science concepts. Sometimes we have to remind the students to keep their voices down so we don't bother the neighbors. It’s a very local operation. We know the families around here, and they know us. We don't put on any acts; we just show up, teach, and try to make sure the kids understand their lessons. It’s been our daily life for years now, and we’re quite used to the rhythm of it. We usually finish up when the street lights come on and everyone heads home for dinner.
