Sagun Beauty Parlour

Sagun Beauty Parlour is located near Andaj Bhatta here in Lucknow. It is a quiet enough area most days, which is nice for a small business. I started this place because I wanted to do something for the local women. The room is painted a soft color and I have a couple of stations set up for threading and hair. It isn't a high-end studio with glass walls. It's just a room where you can come and get your eyebrows done or a quick haircut without spending too much. The floor is tiled and I try to keep it swept, but hair gets everywhere anyway. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello while I'm working. I don't use any of those expensive imported products that cost a fortune. I stick to things I know work well. The sink for washing hair is a bit old, but it does the job. Usually, it's just me working, so if it gets busy, people have to wait on the bench outside or near the door. We talk about family and local stuff while I work. It feels like a community spot more than a business. Lucknow is changing fast, but this little corner near the brick kiln stays pretty much the same. It's simple, honest work every day. I keep a small mirror in the corner that shows the street so I know when someone is coming. My towels are clean but a bit mismatched in color. It works for us.
