Our place, Rv Instruments Pvt. Ltd., is out in the Amausi Industrial Estate at N-46 Nadarganj. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where all the industrial action happens. We spend our time working on different kinds of instruments and tools that other companies use. There are a lot of specialized parts and delicate pieces of equipment sitting on our shelves. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of tools and the occasional hum of a testing machine. We have to be careful with our hands because the work is quite precise. The building is a standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's organized for work. Nadarganj is a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. We are just the people who make and fix things. Sometimes a customer brings in a piece of gear that’s been banged up, and we see if we can get it back into shape. It’s a lot of steady, quiet work. We have our tea breaks together and then get back to the benches. It’s a solid way to spend the day, focusing on the small details of these instruments. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going.
