The shop is over at 356/411 on Alam Nagar Road. If you are around Rajaji Puram, you probably passed by us many times. Lucknow gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the space inside as cool as possible. It is just a place where men come to get a decent haircut or maybe a shave. We also have the spa part if someone wants to sit back for a bit longer. The road outside can be quite noisy with all the traffic coming through this part of town. We have been here for some time now. It’s not a large place, just a regular local shop. Most of the guys who come in live just a few streets away. We know a lot of their names and how they like their hair done. It is a simple routine. We start early and stay open until late evening. The mirrors are old and the chairs have seen a lot of use, but they are comfortable enough. We don't spend money on big signs or loud music. It’s just about doing the work. Sometimes it's quiet and we just sit and watch the bikes go by on Alam Nagar Road. Then a group of friends will walk in and the place gets lively again. Rajaji Puram has changed a lot, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We just keep the scissors sharp and the towels clean.
