Our shop is at Shop 7 on Faizabad Road in Indira Nagar, Lucknow. We are located near Mnjula Hospital, which makes it a busy spot with a lot of foot traffic. The salon is a simple space. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy interiors. It’s just a place with a few chairs and mirrors where we do our daily work. We spend most of our time cutting hair and doing shaves for the locals. Lucknow is a busy city and Faizabad Road is always moving. This means the shop gets a bit dusty, so we spend a lot of time with the cloth and broom. We don't have a complicated booking process. People just walk in when they have time. We have an old radio that plays mostly local stations. Sometimes the equipment needs a bit of a fix, but we manage. We aren't a big chain of salons. We’re just a small shop trying to do a decent job for the people in Indira Nagar. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. We know their stories and they know ours. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We keep a notebook to track things instead of using a computer. It works for us. The shop stays open until late evening so that people coming back from work can stop by. It’s just a regular, local business. We try to keep the water running and the lights bright for everyone who visits us on Faizabad Road.
