Rizwan Hair Cutting Salon

Rizwan Hair Cutting Salon is located on Panna Lal Road in the Daliganj area of Lucknow. The shop is owned and run by Md Rizwan, who has been a barber in this neighborhood for many years. It is a very modest place, just a single room with a couple of chairs and large mirrors on the wall. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights to attract people; they mostly find us because they live nearby or their friends told them about us. We have a small bench for customers to sit on and we always have some cold water ready for anyone who needs it. The tools we use are simple but we keep them very clean and sharp. There is no air conditioning here, just a ceiling fan that wobbles a little bit when it’s on the high setting. Most of the talk in the shop is about the local weather or how the prices in the market are going up. We know most of our customers by name and we know exactly how they like their hair cut without them even having to ask. It is a small business that supports a family and serves the people of Daliganj. We don't need anything more than our scissors and a bit of space to work every day.
