Queens Corner

We are over at M-14 in Vibhuti Khand, right inside Apna Bazaar. It's a busy spot here in Gomti Nagar, and we’ve been running Queens Corner for a while now. Most people find us while they're out doing their regular shopping for groceries or clothes in the market. It gets pretty crowded on weekends, but that’s just how it is around here in Lucknow. We deal with all sorts of things for women, mostly just the usual stuff you’d expect from a local shop. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need and we keep it as organized as possible. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down late at night. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we manage with the back-up. It’s mostly just us working here every day, making sure things stay clean and the shelves look okay for whoever walks in. People from the nearby apartments stop by a lot to pick up things they need. We don’t have any fancy posters or big advertisements, just the name on the board outside. It's a simple place. We know a lot of the faces that come through the door because they’ve been coming for years. If you are walking through Apna Bazaar, you’ll see us near the other clothing stalls. It's practical and we try to keep things moving so customers aren't waiting too long. We don't do anything too complicated. It’s just a local business we run.
