Kalkriti Boutique

Our little boutique is located on Purania Road in Vikas Nagar, right near the Purania Chauraha. Lucknow is known for its clothes and style, and we wanted to be a part of that in our own way. We started Kalkriti Boutique because we like working with fabrics and seeing what we can make. It’s not a huge showroom like the ones you see in the big malls. It’s a smaller shop where we keep things a bit more personal. We spend a lot of our time looking at different materials and figuring out what people in the neighborhood might like to wear. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with rolls of cloth and measuring tapes, but that's just how we work. We don't have a team of models or a big marketing plan. Most of the women who come here are from around Vikas Nagar, and they usually heard about us from a neighbor or saw us while passing through the chauraha. We try to listen to what people want and do our best with the stitching and designs. It can be stressful when we have a lot of orders to finish before a wedding or a festival, but we try to stay on top of it. We're just a local business trying to do good work with our hands.
