Prince Universal Book Shop

Prince Universal Book Shop is located at Shop No B 1/50 in Sector P of Aliganj. We are quite close to the Sector Q Chauraha, so there is always a bit of a breeze from the crossing. The shop is tucked away a little bit, but once you find the right block, it is easy to see. We have been here for some time now, just managing the books and the customers who live in the Aliganj area. The space is filled with all sorts of things, and sometimes we forget where we put certain items until we start digging through the piles. It is a very local kind of place. We know most of the people who walk in because they live just a few streets away. The mornings are usually slow, which gives us time to fix the displays and wipe the dust off the covers. By the afternoon, when the kids are out of school, it gets a bit more hectic. We don't have any fancy computer systems or anything like that; we just write things down and keep track of it ourselves. It is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The chauraha nearby is always busy, so we hear the honking and the traffic all day long. It is just a regular part of life here in Sector P. We keep the doors open and just wait to see who comes in next.
