My Books Wala

My Books Wala is right on the Main Road in Mahanagar. We are located very close to the Raidas Mandir. It is a very central spot in the neighborhood. You can hear the sounds of the temple and the traffic all day long. The shop is not very big, but we pack a lot of stuff into it. There are books in the windows and stacks on the floor. We try to keep a path open for people to walk through. It is a bit of a squeeze when there are more than three people inside at once. We do not have a computer system to track everything. We mostly just know where everything is by memory. If you ask for something, we usually know which corner it is tucked into. The Main Road is always bustling with people going to work or the market. We sit here and watch the town go by. It is a simple business. We do not have a lot of rules or a corporate structure. It is just us and the books. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if people are still hanging around. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that is our main break. We are not trying to change the world. We just like having a shop in Mahanagar. It has been our home for a while. It is just a regular bookstore on a busy street.
