Pravees Beauty Salon

We are tucked away at 112/2 in Vijay Nagar. It’s easy to find if you know where Satnam Traders is, right near Indralok Colony. Lucknow has a lot of these little spots where life just happens. Our salon is a small place for the local ladies to come and get their hair done or maybe some threading. It’s nothing like those big fancy places in the malls. We have our regular mirrors and the chairs that have been with us for a few years. It gets pretty busy on the weekends when everyone has a function to go to. I usually keep a few magazines on the table, though most people just look at their phones now while they wait. The Indralok Colony area is quite nice, and the neighbors are friendly. Sometimes the delivery guys from Satnam Traders stop by to say hello. The fan in the back makes a little clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving when it gets humid. We try to keep things tidy, but with hair and powder, it’s a constant job to wipe everything down. 226004 is a good part of the city to be in. I like the routine of opening the shop and seeing who walks in first. It might be a student or someone's grandmother. We treat everyone the same and just do the work we know how to do. It’s just Pravees Beauty Salon, a local spot for local people.
