Peekay Charitable Foundation

This is the Peekay Charitable Foundation. Our place is at 30-A Ashok Vihar, right in Sector-8 of Ismailganj. If you know the Indira Nagar area in Lucknow, you know it can get a bit busy around here. We’ve been operating out of this spot in Uttar Pradesh for a while now. It is a local setup. We don't have those shiny glass walls or anything. It's more of a regular house converted into an office space. We do charitable work because we saw things in the neighborhood that needed a hand. Lucknow is a big city and there's always someone looking for help with something or other. We spend a lot of time talking to neighbors and people who stop by the gate. Sometimes the power goes out, or the street gets crowded, but that’s just how it is in 226016. We aren't trying to be some massive organization. We just do what we can with what we have. Most of the staff live nearby, so we really know the streets and the people around Ismailganj. It’s honest work. We keep the books tidy and try to help out whoever walks through the door. It isn't a complicated operation. We just like being part of the community and doing our bit where it's needed most without making a big fuss about it. We just open up every morning and see what the day brings.
