P Mens Parlour

Down here on Vikas Nagar Road, things stay pretty steady throughout the day. We are located near the PAC Camp in Mahanagar, so we get a lot of people from around there. It’s a basic setup at P Mens Parlour. We have the usual chairs, the big mirrors that have seen better days, and all the tools laid out on the counters. Lucknow gets really hot in the summer, so the fan is always running at full speed, trying to keep everyone cool while they wait. Most guys come in for a quick shave or a standard haircut they’ve been getting for years. We don't do anything too complicated. It’s just about getting the job done so people can get on with their day. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when there aren't many customers, watching the traffic go by on the main road. The neighborhood is quiet enough, but we have our busy hours, especially in the mornings and right after work ends. We keep a stack of old newspapers and magazines for people to look at, though most just chat or check their phones now. The shop has that smell of talcum powder and aftershave that never really goes away. It’s just a local spot where you can come in, sit down, and get your hair trimmed without any fuss or waiting around for hours in a fancy lobby. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we like the routine of it all.
