One To One

We’re located in the City Centre building, 1-A on Sapru Marg. It’s a well-known spot right next to the Gomti Hotel. Being in the City Centre means we are in the middle of a lot of commercial activity. Our space isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. We have a small office area and then the spots where the teaching happens. The name One To One kind of hints at how we work, focusing on small groups or single students at a time. Because of that, we don’t have massive lecture halls. It’s mostly just small tables and chairs. The carpet is a bit worn in places from all the foot traffic over the years. We keep a stack of books and old folders in the corner because we’re always referring back to something. It can get a bit noisy in the building corridors, but once the door is shut, it’s quiet enough to get some work done. We don't have any flashy signs or high-tech gadgets everywhere. Just a few computers and a lot of paper. Most days, we’re just sitting across from someone, going over their work and trying to make sense of the difficult bits. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work. We’ve been in this building for a while and know the security guards and the other office workers on this floor.
