Om Jyotish Seva Sansthan Welfare Foundation is situated over on Aishbagh Road. Specifically, we are at S.No 215/427/20 on the 1st Floor, care of Vishishth Sareen. Being in Naka Hindola means we’re right in a very busy, energetic part of the city. You have to climb the stairs to get up to the first floor where we are. It’s a bit of a climb, but it gets us away from the direct noise of the traffic on Aishbagh Road. The space is shared or at least feels that way since it’s "C/O" Vishishth Sareen. It’s not a huge place, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the rooms. We’ve got some desks, a few cupboards for our records, and enough chairs for when people come by. The light from the windows overlooking the road is actually pretty good in the mornings. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have any fancy reception area or a coffee machine. Usually, we just get some tea from the shop downstairs if we need a break. It’s the kind of place where the phone rings a lot and there’s always some paperwork to be filed. Naka Hindola is a landmark area, so most people can find their way to us without too much trouble. It feels like a real working office, a bit cluttered and definitely not corporate. We just focus on the welfare work we have to do and keep things moving along. Sometimes the traffic noise is loud, but we get used to it.
