Okay Spa & Beauty Salon

The shop is tucked away in Jankipuram, pretty close to the Ram-Ram Bank Crossing. It’s a busy spot during the day with all the traffic. We started Okay Spa & Beauty Salon because we wanted a place where local people could get their hair or skin done without going all the way to the city center. It’s mostly locals who drop in. The walls are painted a simple color, and we have the usual salon chairs and those big hair dryers. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we make it work. It smells like shampoo and face creams in here most of the time. We try to keep things organized, but on Saturdays, it gets a bit messy with towels and stuff everywhere. The staff is just local girls and guys who know the neighborhood well. People like to talk about their families while they get a facial or a haircut. We’ve got a small window that looks out towards the crossing. It’s nothing like those big malls, just a small business trying to keep going. We keep the prices fair because we know everyone around here. You might have to wait a bit if it’s a wedding season, but usually, it’s pretty quick. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work every morning until we go home.
