Oberon Loreal Collaboration Salon is up on the first floor of Dube Chambers. We are at 1 Sapru Marg in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow. If you look across the street, you can see Parampara Sweet, which is usually quite crowded. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs to find us. It’s a bit quieter than being right on the pavement. The salon has a connection to the Loreal name, so we use those products, but we’re still just a local team working in Hazratganj. The space is filled with mirrors and the usual salon equipment. You can hear the hum of the hair dryers most of the time. From the windows, we can watch the traffic on Sapru Marg. We spend our mornings setting everything up and making sure we have enough clean supplies for the day. People come in for all sorts of hair treatments or just to get their nails done. It’s a professional enough setup but we still keep things friendly and relaxed. We don't have a big reception desk with someone in a suit; it’s just us. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when the Lucknow sun is really hitting the building, but we manage somehow. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this street while we’ve been here in Dube Chambers. It’s just a steady, everyday kind of place for hair and beauty work, and we like the view from up here on the first floor.
