Noor Allam Hair Cutting Saloon

Our place is Noor Allam Hair Cutting Saloon and we are over on Masjid Road in Munshi Pulia. It's very close to the Munshi Puliya Chauraha, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. Lucknow gets very busy in this area. The shop isn't big, but we’ve made the most of the space. We have the usual stuff like the wooden cabinets for the razors and the glass jars for the combs. There is a small bench outside where people sometimes sit if the two chairs inside are full. We do a lot of beard trims and basic haircuts. Most of our customers live right here in Munshi Pulia, so it feels like a neighborhood gathering sometimes. The floor is tiled, which makes it easier to sweep up all the hair at the end of the day. We usually have the radio playing some songs in the background. It’s a humble spot on Masjid Road. We don’t have air conditioning, just the ceiling fans, but they do the job. We start early in the morning because that’s when the regular guys like to come in before they head off to their jobs. We stay open until the evening prayer time and then wrap things up. It’s just a simple life here, running the shop and talking to the people who stop by for a trim. We keep things moving and stay steady.
