Nisha Herbal Beauty Parlour

Our place is called Nisha Herbal Beauty Parlour and it is situated in Gomti Plaza, which is right in the Vivek Khand area of Gomti Nagar. Since we are in Lucknow, it gets quite humid, and the shop is a nice break from that. Being in the plaza means we have neighbors who run all sorts of businesses. The shop has a bit of a herbal scent because of the products we use, which I think is better than the heavy chemical smells you find in other places. It’s a cozy spot, not one of those huge salons where you feel lost. I’ve got my regular tools and the chairs are positioned so people can relax a bit. Gomti Nagar is a busy part of town, so there is always a mix of people coming through. Some are in a hurry, and others want to sit and talk for an hour. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background to cover the noise from the hallway of the plaza. The lighting is soft because I don’t like those harsh white bulbs. It’s just a place where we do threading, facials, and hair work. I try to keep the supply cupboard organized, but it’s always a struggle. Most days are just a steady stream of familiar faces, and that’s how I like it. It feels more like a community spot than just a business.
