Newtech Engineering Construction

You can find us over at Plot No-838 in Rajaji Puram. We’re right near the Bank of India, which is a landmark everyone knows. Newtech Engineering Construction is a small operation, mostly run by a few of us who have been in the building trade for a long time. The office is just a simple room with some desks and a lot of old files. We don’t really go for the modern, polished look. It’s more about having a place to sit down and talk through the construction plans. Rajaji Puram is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside our window. We get a lot of people dropping in to ask about building their homes or fixing things up. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or word of mouth. We just focus on the engineering side of things and making sure the construction is solid. It’s a lot of manual work and checking measurements over and over. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a break, but mostly we’re busy with one project or another. It’s a steady way to make a living. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but our office stays pretty much the same. It's just home base for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way every day.
