New Clarks Hair Dresser

You can find us over on Kapoorthla Road in Aliganj. We are pretty close to Mama Chaurha, so it’s easy to find us if you’re in that part of Lucknow. The shop is called New Clarks Hair Dresser. It’s been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed around us, but we stay the same. We have a few chairs and some big mirrors that have seen a lot of years. It’s a place where guys come to talk as much as they come to get a haircut. We hear all the local news here. The fans hum along while we work. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning that freezes you out, just a normal shop. We do haircuts, shaves, and the occasional head massage if someone looks stressed. My hands are usually stained with a bit of dye or just tired from the scissors, but that’s fine. We don’t use any complicated booking systems. You just show up and wait your turn. Sometimes you have to wait a while on Saturdays. We try to be quick but we don't rush the actual cut. A bad haircut stays with a person for weeks, so we take our time. It’s a small business, and we appreciate everyone who stops by. We aren't looking to become a big chain or anything. We just like being here near the Chaurha and serving the local Lucknow crowd.
