Samina Chikan House

Samina Chikan House is located at Shop No-51 in Lucknow Plaza on Nazirabad Road. If you know the plaza, we are right in the middle of all the action. We deal with Chikan work, which has a long history in this city. Our shop is pretty small, and we have fabric stacked all the way to the ceiling sometimes. It can be a bit crowded when we have a lot of customers, but that’s just how it is in Lucknow Plaza. We’ve been here for years and have seen many other shops come and go. We don't do any big advertising or have a fancy website. Most of our business comes from people who walk past or have been coming to us for a long time. We like the personal touch of talking to people directly. Usually, you’ll see us sitting among the piles of clothes, checking the embroidery or helping someone find a specific color. It’s a busy life on Nazirabad Road, especially during the festivals. We don't have any corporate goals or mission statements. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the Chikan work we sell is decent. It’s a lot of effort to keep everything organized, but we’ve gotten pretty good at it over the years. We just take it one day at a time.
