Naz Foundation International

Naz Foundation International is based over here in Dalibagh, at 11B. It’s a well-known part of Lucknow, and we’ve been part of the community for quite some time. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where all our work happens. We spend most of our mornings just getting through the emails and messages that pile up. It can get a bit loud in the office when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how we work. We don't really do the whole corporate suit-and-tie thing. Most of us just wear what's comfortable and get on with the day's tasks. Being in Lucknow means we see a lot of different people coming through the doors. We try to help out where we can, though we can't always do everything for everyone. It’s a lot of practical work, day in and day out. Sometimes the tea runs out before the afternoon, which is usually when things get a bit stressful. But we like the area. Dalibagh has a good feel to it. We just focus on the next thing on the list and try to keep things moving forward. It’s not about having a grand plan, but about the small steps we take every day. We’ve got some old furniture and some slow computers, but the work gets done anyway. That’s just life in a local office.
