Namit Tutorial

Our tutorial is situated right at the Tiraha in Chinhat, Lucknow. It’s a 226028 area code spot, which is quite a lively and busy junction. Being at the Tiraha means there is never a quiet moment. There’s always someone shouting, a horn honking, or some kind of activity going on right outside our window. We’ve got a few rooms where we hold our sessions. They are basic, with just the essentials like tables, stools, and boards. We didn't spend a lot on fancy furniture because it didn't seem necessary for what we do. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy with the actual teaching to get around to it. Most of the people who come here are from the local families in Chinhat. We know a lot of the parents by name. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for a while and people know where to find us. During the monsoon, the road outside can get a bit muddy, but that doesn't stop anyone. We just put out a couple of extra mats for people to wipe their feet. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of operation. We just focus on getting through the books and making sure the students understand what’s going on before they head home for dinner.
