Our office is tucked away inside the Nadwatul Ulama Campus on Tagore Marg. We use Post Box Number 119 for most of our correspondence. Being on a campus means it is usually a bit quieter here than it is out on the main road in Lucknow. We spend most of our hours surrounded by research papers and old volumes that need a lot of care. The rooms have high ceilings and the smell of old ink is everywhere. It’s not a fancy corporate setup; it’s more like a library where people are actually working. We have a lot of books stacked up in the corners waiting to be cataloged or sent out to researchers. The windows look out onto the campus trees, which is a nice change from the dusty streets outside. We don’t really have a big sign out front, so you have to know where you’re going to find us. Most of our day is spent reading, typing, or packing up orders that come in from all over. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very grounded way of working. We’ve been part of the campus fabric for a long time, and the pace here matches the academic atmosphere. There is always something new to look into, even if it’s an old topic. We just keep at it, one page at a time, in our quiet corner of Tagore Marg. It suits us just fine.
