M/S Unique Chikan

Our shop, M/S Unique Chikan, is at No. 55 Ravindra Garden in Sector-E, Aliganj. It’s a nice enough area and quite easy to find if you are in the Sector E part of town. We work with Chikan work here, which means there is always a lot of fabric lying around. You’ll see different colors and threads all over the place. It’s not the most tidy office, but we know exactly where everything is. The people who work here have been doing this for years. Their hands are always busy with something. We have a few benches and some low tables where the work gets done. It’s often a bit noisy with people talking and the sound of the needles or machines. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. Usually, it’s just us and the local customers who stop by to see what’s new. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad, but we just keep going. Aliganj is a good place to be based. We have our regulars who come in for a chat as much as they do for the clothes. We don't try to be something we’re not. It’s a small operation and we like the personal feel of it. We just want to do the work right and keep the business going one day at a time. Every evening we pack things up and get ready to do it all over again tomorrow.
