Morning Star Hair Dress

It’s been quite a while since we started running Morning Star Hair Dress over here in the Odean Ki Dhalan area. If you know Lucknow, specifically near the Odean Cinema on Cantt Road, you probably know how busy it gets around here. Our shop isn't anything fancy or huge, but it gets the job done for the folks living in Machhli Mohal. Usually, mornings are a bit slow, so that is when I get time to clean the mirrors and sharpen the tools. By the time afternoon hits, the chairs start filling up with people coming in for a quick trim or a shave after work. We have these old chairs that have seen a lot of years, but they are comfortable enough for a twenty-minute haircut. The fan keeps humming in the corner, trying to push the heat away, while we talk about whatever is happening in the city or just local news from the neighborhood. It is a simple setup really. Most of our regulars have been coming here since they were kids, and now they bring their own sons. We just focus on keeping the place tidy and making sure everyone leaves looking a bit better than when they walked in. The location near the cinema makes it easy for people to find us even if they aren't from this exact street. Just look for the sign near the slope of the road. It is just a regular local shop where people come to sit and get their hair sorted without much fuss or noise.
