Mj Parlour

Mj Parlour is tucked away in Om Plaza, right in the Indira Nagar area of Lucknow. We are easy to find because we are near the Sabji Mandi, so there is always the sound of vendors and people buying their vegetables nearby. Being in Om Plaza means we have a bit of a roof over our heads away from the direct sun, which is nice during the Lucknow summers. The shop is a simple place with 226016 as our pincode. It’s mostly just us and the regular customers who stop by after doing their shopping at the market. The place smells like a mix of talcum powder and whatever soap we are using that day. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and wait for the regulars. Sometimes the market gets so crowded that it takes a while for people to reach us, but they eventually do. The chairs are old but comfortable enough. We’ve got a small mirror and some shelves for the combs and scissors. It’s a real local spot where you can hear the latest gossip from the Indira Nagar neighborhood. We like it here because it feels like we are in the middle of everything. No fancy decorations, just a basic room where we do our work every day. It is a practical spot for a haircut when you are already out doing your daily chores.
