Meridian Beauty Parlour

Meridian Beauty Parlour is a small place located on Natkhera Road in Alambagh. We have been operating out of this same spot for quite a few years now. It is a very local business for the people living in Lucknow. We handle basic things like waxing, threading, and hair coloring for the women in this neighborhood. The shop is tucked away a little bit, but once you are on Natkhera Road, it is not hard to find us. It is a very simple setup with just a couple of chairs and some basic supplies on the shelves. We do not have any fancy posters or bright neon lights in the windows. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but the place is clean and it works well for us. Most of our customers are women from nearby houses or girls coming home from their college classes. We usually talk about our families and the local news while we work. It makes the long day go by much faster. Lucknow summers can be very hot, so we keep the ceiling fans going at full speed all day long. We don't do any kind of big marketing or advertising. People just know that we are here. If a customer is happy with her hair, she tells her friends. That is how we have stayed in business for this long. It’s just honest work.
