Mansa Beauty Parlour

We are over in Gomti Nagar at Jeevan Plaza, house number 5/70 in Viraamkhand. Lucknow is a big city, but this area feels a bit more organized than others. Mansa is our parlour. It is a simple setup we have had for a while now. We are not in one of those huge malls you see everywhere. It is a smaller building where people know each other. I have two girls who work with me most days. We do a lot of threading and simple facials for the local women. The chairs are comfortable enough for a long sit. We keep some old magazines on the table for people to look at while they wait. The window looks out onto the street, so we can see people coming and going. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we have a storage tank for that. We do not do any big promotions. If someone likes their haircut, they tell their friends and family. That is how we have stayed open for so long. The floor is white tile, so we have to clean it constantly or it looks messy. It is a lot of bending and reaching, so my back hurts sometimes by the end of the day. But it is good work and I enjoy it. We have tea around four o'clock every day. Anyone who is in the shop gets a cup. It is just a friendly, local place to get your beauty work done.
