Manash Welfare Foundation is based in Lucknow. Specifically, we are at A/4/375 Greenwood Villa. That is in Sector-A/4. Our zip code is 226030. It is a nice enough spot in Uttar Pradesh. We work out of a villa, which makes the environment feel a bit more like a home than an office. We like that. It keeps things relaxed. We don't have those grey cubicles you see in movies. Instead, we have normal rooms where we handle our welfare projects. Lucknow is a big city, but Sector-A/4 feels a bit more tucked away. It’s quiet enough to get things done. We chose Greenwood Villa because it was available and had the right amount of space. We aren't trying to impress anyone with our decor. Most of our furniture is just practical stuff we’ve gathered over time. We focus on our daily tasks. Some days involve a lot of phone calls, other days we are out and about. When we are here at the villa, it’s mostly just us working through our list of things to do. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just know what needs to happen each day. It’s a local operation. We know the neighbors and they know us. Being part of the community in Lucknow is important. We just take things one day at a time from our office in the villa. It keeps us busy.
